Excursion Overview
Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup as we head towards the Hams Caves at the designated time. Prepare for a thrilling expedition that takes you beneath the surface of the earth!
Upon arrival, we will explore the enchanting Hams Caves, where you will witness their breathtaking formations and listen to the captivating narrative of how these caves came to be, dating back an incredible 10 million years. Following a leisurely walk through the Round Cave's botanical garden, we will discover the Blue Cave and watch an insightful documentary shedding light on the rich past of Mallorca.
We'll make a quick mention of the caves' discovery in 1905 and the contributions of speleologist Pedro Caldentey Santandreu. Afterward, we will dive into the exploration of the 12 galleries of Cueva Clásica. As we journey through, you'll be captivated by the unique illuminations in each chamber, view the underground lake, and admire remarkable stalactite and stalagmite formations, ensuring an exhilarating adventure!
Following our cave exploration, our visit will lead us to Dinosaurland, a theme park showcasing more than 100 life-sized dinosaur replicas, including a stunning 50-meter-high (164 feet) tyrannosaurus. During our time there, we will discover various dinosaur habitats and gather fascinating insights about these prehistoric beings.
Our trip will come to an end with a return to your hotel after a memorable five-hour journey.
