Hiking in the Arrábida Natural Park

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Abrigo de Sesimbra port to start this hiking route through the Arrábida Natural Park. Once the introductions are made, we'll begin the hike through this area rich in nature and history, established in 1976 to preserve the local flora. The park features one of the few examples of Mediterranean maquis.

The walk will take us along a path through the cliffs between Sesimbra and Cabo Espichel, allowing us to appreciate the native species and biodiversity of the region. Along 7 kilometers (4.35 miles), we'll admire the Arrábida mountain range above one of the most beautiful coasts of Portugal. We will explore the wildlife, history, and traditions of this natural area in the Lisbon region.

Four hours later, we'll conclude the hiking activity at the starting point.
