The azure blue sea, limestone cliffs, lush vegetation... On this hiking tour in the Arrábida Natural Park, we'll explore this protected area in Portugal.
Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we'll meet along the ER379-1 Highway to begin our hiking route through the Arrábida Natural Park. This area was established in 1976 to preserve the local flora, with the main attraction being its rich vegetation and one of the few examples of Mediterranean maquis.
The trail will take us along the cliffs between Sesimbra and Cabo Espichel, where we will observe the native species and biodiversity. The hike spans 7 kilometers (4.35 miles), allowing us to admire the Arrábida mountain range, which overlooks one of the most beautiful coastlines in Portugal. During the hike, we will learn about the wildlife, history, and traditions of this natural area in the Lisbon region.
After four hours of hiking, we will conclude the activity at the starting point.
