The azure blue sea, limestone cliffs, lush vegetation... On this hiking tour in the Arrábida Natural Park, we'll discover this unparalleled protected area in Portugal.
Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we'll meet along the ER379-1 Highway to start this hiking route through the Arrábida Natural Park.
Once the introductions are made, we'll start the hike through this area rich in nature and history, established in 1976 to preserve the local flora. The park features one of the few examples of Mediterranean maquis.
The walk will take us along a path through the cliffs between Sesimbra and Cabo Espichel, where we'll appreciate the native species and biodiversity of the area.
Over a distance of 7 kilometers (4.35 miles), we'll admire the Arrábida mountain range overlooking one of the most scenic coasts of Portugal. We'll walk between the sea and the mountains, learning about the wildlife, history, and traditions of this charming natural area in the Lisbon region.
Four hours later, we'll conclude the hiking activity back at the starting point.
