Setúbal Tourist Train

The tourist train in Setúbal begins its journey from the Casa da Baia and travels along the scenic Portuguese coast. During this hour-long excursion, you will have the opportunity to admire breathtaking sites, including the lush Jardim da Beira Mar gardens with the Troia peninsula as a stunning backdrop, the flowing Sado River, the Atlantic Ocean, and the protected area of the Sado Estuary.

As you traverse the route, you'll encounter notable landmarks such as the Estatua do Navegador, the Museo do Trabalho, and the vibrant Mercado do Livramento, among others. An insightful audio guide will enhance your experience by providing information on each of these sights throughout your journey.

The tour culminates at the renowned Monastery of Jesus, an early expression of Manueline architecture. Upon completion, the train returns to its initial departure point.

From April to June: 11:30 am to 4:30 pm, hourly departures.From July to September: 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, hourly departures.In October, November and March: 11:30 am to 4:30 pm, hourly departures.
