Carmona Day Trip

We will depart along Rasro Street towards Carmona.

After a 30-minute journey, we will arrive in Carmona, a town recognized for winning the bronze medal for the most charming village in Andalucia in 2015. Our visit will include the Fortress of San Pedro, notable for its extensive restoration.

The historic centre will be explored on foot, starting from the Cordoba Gate to the Sevilla Gate, with stops at San Fernando and Blas Infante squares. The tour will cover the gothic, Muslim, and baroque heritage reflected in the churches of San Bartolomé and San Pedro.

Next, we will visit the Roman necropolis at Carmona, which is one of the premier examples in the Seville region. Significant findings include the Elephant Tomb, known for its stone sculpture of an elephant connected to the cult of the god Mitra.

We will return to Sevilla by bus, arriving approximately 4 hours after departure.
