Carmona Day Trip

We'll travel along Rasro Street and head to Carmona.

After a 30-minute journey, we arrive at the town, which won the bronze medal for most charming village in Andalucia in 2015. We'll visit the Fortress of San Pedro, which has been preserved through an extensive restoration.

We'll tour the historic centre by foot, from the Cordoba Gate to the Sevilla Gate, passing through the San Fernando and Blas Infante squares. The tour will cover the gothic, Muslim, and baroque heritage of the churches of San Bartolomé and San Pedro.

Next, we'll visit the remains of the Roman necropolis at Carmona, noted as one of the finest examples in the Seville region. Key sites include the Elephant Tomb, a significant archaeological find associated with the cult of the god Mitra.

We'll then return to Sevilla by bus, with an estimated arrival time of around 4 hours later.
