Step back in time to discover the contrast between the Roman Period and the Caliphate period in the famous Andalusian city with this Cordoba Day trip from Seville.

Description

At 9 am, we'll pick you up at the established meeting points in Seville and depart to the ancient Caliphal capital of Cordoba.

After a brief stop in Carmona, we'll arrive in the historic city of Cordoba, a designated World Heritage Site.

A guided tour of the historic center includes the Roman Bridge, the old Jewish quarter, the Royal Stables, and the Synagogue (closed on Mondays). We will also visit the colorful courtyards of Cordoba, where you can take photos.

After touring the old town, you'll have lunch at your own leisure following the guide's recommendations, with 30 to 45 minutes of free time for shopping or exploring.

In the afternoon, we will conduct a guided tour of the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, showcasing its golden mosaics and the intricate ornamentation of its arches and the mihrab, which indicates the direction to Mecca. This monument is central to Western Islamic art.

After the Mosque-Cathedral tour, we will return to the meeting points in Seville, arriving at 7 pm.

Note that an English-speaking guide for the Mosque-Cathedral can only be guaranteed if sufficient participants join. Otherwise, options for another language group or an audio guide may be suggested. The rest of the tour will be in English.
