Experience the essence of nature in the inspiring setting of the Doñana Natural and National Park, centred on the precious eco-system of the River Guadalquivir. This is a habitat where birds, animals, fish and humans coexist in a vast space made up of forests, meadows, dunes marshes and lagoons as well as the holy hamlet of El Rocio. Doñana is both a Unesco World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve.

In the Winter months after leaving Seville in a 4x4, you will head to the town of Coria del Rio, located by the Guadalquivir River, door of the Doñana wetland, before continuing to the marshes to marvel as birds freely fly over the wilderness. These wetlands are home to hundreds of thousands of birds, made up from more than 300 species, making this the most important natural space in the continent. You will pass through the most important rice field in Spain and the cinematographic Minima Island.

Continue on through the northern area of the National Park, until reaching the village of El Rocio. During this stop you will visit its famous Sanctuary. This town keeps an air of the far west, with its white houses, sandy streets and horses that still walking along them. You will feel as if you have travelled back in time!

Visit the Acebrón Palace, located within the Doñana National Park where you can join the trail that makes its way along the path of the La Rocina stream into a spectacular, extremely well conserved riparian forest.

After lunch, burn the calories away with a stroll on a 30km-long virgin beach before enjoying a beautiful sunset, while driving through the pine forest at the Asperillo area. Duruing this time, you may be able to see some of the larger animals that inhabit the Doñana area.

During the Summer, the itinerary will change. You will leave Seville at dawn in a 4x4 and go directly to the National Park. There will be no stop in Coria del Rio. This is to increase the chances of seeing as many varieties of animals as possible. After you have visited the National Park, you will visit El Rocio to see the rest of the ecosystems. There will be no visit to the Palace but, after lunch you can enjoy some time to swim in the sea, or take a stroll through the sand dunes before returning back to Seville.
