Itálica Day Trip
Having picked you up at the selected meet point in Seville, we'll make the 10-minute journey to Santiponce, where the Roman ruins are located.
We'll tour the Itálica archaeological site, the birthplace of Trajan, the first Roman emperor born outside of Italy. We'll start by recalling the gladiatorial battles in the amphitheatre and visit the Itálica theatre, the best preserved in Sevilla. The visit includes a look at the original mosaics.
Five minutes from Itálica is the San Isidoro del Campo monastery. Inside, we'll visit two large cloisters designed in a Moorish style, one of which houses 15th-century pictorial works.
At the end of our tour, we will return to Seville, arriving by 2 pm.
