Disconnect from modern life with this trip to the Sierra de Aracena where you will discover picturesque settings like Río Tinto and the Dehesa de Sierra Morena.
Sierra de Aracena Full-Day Trip Itinerary
We will collect you from the meeting point for an approximately 10-hour tour.
The route includes the Dehesa de Sierra Morena, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2002, home to animals like "brave bulls" and acorn-fed Iberian pigs, used for the renowned Jabugo "jamón Ibérico." The town of Jabugo is famous for this product.
We will then arrive at historic Aracena, visiting the Aracena Castle, built between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries, significant during the Middle Ages for its strategic location. We will also explore the Gruta de las Maravillas, an underground network that opened to the public in 1914, one of the first in Spain.
On our return to Seville, we will enjoy views of the Mediterranean forest of La Peña de Arias Montano and stop in Almonaster La Real, home to what is believed to be the oldest mosque in Spain.
We will return to Seville at 7 pm.
