Day Trip to Tangier
Upon your pickup from a designated location in Seville, we will embark on a journey by bus heading south across the Iberian Peninsula.
The bus ride spans approximately two hours, taking you through the scenic province of Cadiz. Our first stop is Tarifa, where we will board the ferry for the Gibraltar Strait, a 75-minute crossing leading us to the port of Tangier.
Upon arrival, wander through the charming streets of the old town, where remnants of its historic trading prowess are still visible. The lively souks here are a highlight, featuring a diverse array of unique products, including a variety of artisanal Arabic crafts.
Next, we will enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch featuring couscous, a staple dish widely enjoyed in Northern Africa, typically prepared with wheat, corn, or rice accompanied by lamb and vegetables. You will also have the chance to taste another local favorite, tajin, which consists of a flavorful stew made with meat, vegetables, or legumes. Please note that beverages during lunch are not included.
After our meal, we will gain a new perspective of Tangier's old town from the heights of the fortress, which bears witness to numerous tales, offering insights into the city’s extensive history from ancient times through to the present.
As the day winds down, we will return to Tangier to catch the ferry back to Tarifa. Following this, we will make our way back to Seville by bus, with an estimated arrival 14 hours later.
