The route to the White Villages runs along the old border that separated the Christian kingdoms of Castile and Granada (Al Andalus). We will cross the province of Seville and visit the picturesque white villages.

From Seville, we will pass through various types of landscape: the Andalusian countryside, where we will see the castle of Aguzaderas, and then we will enter an increasingly mountainous landscape. Our first stop will be an oil mill, where you will learn about the traditional extraction and production of olive oil, a fundamental product in Andalusian history and gastronomy. We will also do an oil tasting at this oil mill. You will have the opportunity to taste one of the best extra virgin olive oils in the area. Afterwards, we will visit the white village of Zahara de la Sierra. Its stunning location will leave you speechless. We will walk through its narrow streets, enjoy wonderful views and learn a little more about the history of Andalusia through its past.

The excursion continues to the Sierra de Grazalema mountain range, an area of extraordinary gastronomic, scenic, geological and botanical interest. Grazalema has a natural environment where two native species stand out: a fir tree called Pinsapo and a species of goat called Payoya, from which one of Andalusia's great delicacies is extracted: Payoyo cheese. Due to the gastronomic quality of this area, Grazalema is where we will stop for lunch. The guide will give you all the necessary recommendations on typical foods, as well as places in Grazalema where you can enjoy them, to make your stop here a true gastronomic experience.

In Grazalema, in addition to tasting some of the great delicacies of this area, you can enjoy a stroll on your own through its narrow white streets and take in the impressive views of the mountains. On many days, it is possible to see crows and golden eagles flying in the sky.

Finally, we will travel to the romantic city of Ronda, the largest in the region. We will arrive in Ronda by crossing one of the largest natural parks in Spain: Los Alcornocales, a journey through cork oak trees where you will learn about this tree and the cork industry. Next, the impressive views of the Ronda mountains will appear. Before arriving, our guide will explain the most important historical and cultural details of Ronda, as well as its main monuments: the bullring, Alameda, Paseo de los Toreros, El Tajo and the famous Puente Nuevo bridge.

Once in Ronda, your guide will offer you all the necessary guidelines and advice so that you can explore the city on your own and make the most of your time.

Once our visit to Ronda is over, we will head back to Seville.

Your guide will conduct the tour in the order and manner they deem most appropriate, taking into account the time of year, weather conditions, road conditions and the festive calendar of the towns to be visited.
