Travel scenic California’s Pacific Coast Highway 1 to the Monterey Peninsula, known for its ocean views and historical significance.

Day Trip to Carmel and Monterey

After hotel pickup in San Francisco, we will head south towards Carmel.

Driving along the Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1), you will enjoy views of the coastline and cliffs. This route is a popular drive in the country.

In Monterey, we will visit Cannery Row, the seafront promenade built over old sardine packing houses, and explore shops and restaurants with ocean views.

Next, we will travel along the 17-Mile Drive, which features mansions, attractions like the lone cypress tree, and golf courses, including Pebble Beach, the 2012 USA Open venue.

In Carmel, you will have time to explore, visit boutiques and art galleries, and admire the architecture.

After a full day, we will return to San Francisco. The tour concludes around 7 pm at designated meeting points or your choice of location.
