After a brief 15-minute boat ride, enjoy two and a half hours to roam this infamous former prison, notably housing figures like Al Capone. An audio guide in English will accompany you, revealing the fascinating history of this facility, which is also referred to as The Rock.

The site is known for its haunting stories, recorded deaths, and notorious escapes, having operated from 1934 until 1963. As you navigate through its courtyards, cells, and wards, prepare for chills as you uncover the tales of its past!

Upon completing your visit, you will take the boat back to Pier 33.

Bike Tour of San Francisco Bay

If you wish to discover the San Francisco Bay, join us at 10 am at Taylor Street, and we will proceed to Fisherman's Wharf to start an exciting bike tour. We will pedal along the waterfront, observing sea lions and notable structures, including the old military fort that defines the landscape.

Our route will lead us directly to the renowned Golden Gate Bridge, an iconic landmark and a perfect backdrop for photos. We will cross this magnificent orange structure until we reach Sausalito, a picturesque fishing village famous for its charming houseboats.

To conclude the tour, we'll board a ferry that will bring us back to the pier, wrapping up our experience around noon or shortly after.

Bike Rental in San Francisco

If you prefer to discover the city at your own pace, you can opt for the bike rental option. In this scenario, pick up your bike at 2661 Taylor St. between 9 am and 6:30 pm. Enjoy a day filled with cycling and return the bike later, after visiting all the essential sites. Let’s get cycling!

Keep in mind that the day you book is the day for your Alcatraz visit, while the following day will be reserved for the bike tour or bike rental. Here’s the schedule for each activity:
