San Francisco Bike Tour + Alcatraz

Up for a visit to the famous Alcatraz prison? And a bike tour through San Francisco Bay? Great, because this combo tour will allow you to do both!

Alcatraz Cruise

At the selected time, you must go to Pier 33 in San Francisco, where the boat will be waiting to take you to Alcatraz Island. After a 15-minute cruise, you'll have two and a half hours of free time to tour this former prison where Al Capone was incarcerated. An audio guide in English is included to provide historical insights about Alcatraz, known as The Rock.

During your visit, you will learn about paranormal events, deaths, and an infamous escape related to the prison, which was active between 1934 and 1963. Your exploration will include courtyards, cells, and wards. After the visit, you will return to Pier 33 by boat.

San Francisco Bay Bike Tour

If you want to explore the San Francisco Bay, we'll meet at 10 am at Taylor Street and proceed to Fisherman's Wharf to begin the bike tour. You will pedal along the coast, observing sea lions and San Francisco's historic military fort. The tour proceeds to the Golden Gate Bridge where we will cross it to reach Sausalito, a town known for houseboats.

We will finish the tour by boarding a ferry back to the pier, concluding the experience between 12 and 1 pm.

San Francisco Bike Rental

If you'd prefer to explore the city at your own pace, you can opt for a bike rental. Bikes can be picked up at 2661 Taylor St. between 9 am and 6:30 pm and can be used all day, returning them at the end of the afternoon.

Please note that the day you reserve will be the day you'll visit Alcatraz, while the next day is assigned for the bike tour or rental. Each activity's schedule is as follows:

Alcatraz Tour: The local tour operator will confirm the time 5 days prior, with departures between 8:45 am and 6:30 pm.San Francisco Bay Bike Tour: Departure at 10 am.Bike rental: Available from 9 am to 6:30 pm.
