San Francisco Tour + Alcatraz

Pt. 1: San Francisco Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at your chosen meeting point to begin our complete tour of San Francisco! We'll start by exploring the dreamy Palace of Fine Arts.

Then, we'll cross the Golden Gate Bridge to take you to a spectacular viewpoint where you can take the most amazing photos of the iconic bridge. Next, we'll take you to Land's End Lookout so that you can enjoy panoramic views of the Sutro Baths and the Cliff House.

After taking in all of these stunning views, we'll head to the Golden Gate Park to explore its many gardens and museums. As we stroll, you'll learn about the fascinating history of the neighboring Haight-Ashbury district. Then, we'll drive through Castro and Mission District on our way to the Twin Peaks overlook.

Next, we'll hop back on the bus to take a panoramic tour of various SF neighborhoods, such as Nob Hill, the Financial District, and Chinatown before arriving in North Beach. In this area, aka Little Italy, we'll pass by the famous Coit Tower on our way to the intriguing Lombard Street!

Hungry? We'll take a break in either North Beach or Fisherman's Wharf so that you can have some lunch on your own. In Fisherman's Wharf, you can say "hi" to the famous San Francisco sea lions!

Then, we'll drop you off at Pier 33 so that you can pick up your tickets and board the ferry to Alcatraz.

Pt. 2: Visit to Alcatraz

Once you arrive at "The Rock", as it's popularly known, you'll enjoy the official "Alcatraz Cellhouse Audio Tour", which is available in several languages and lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

You'll explore America's toughest prison, said to be impossible to escape from... America's most notorious, violent, and troublesome prisoners were sent to this island-prison. Famous inmates include Al Capone, "Machine Gun Kelly" and Robert Franklin Stroud, perhaps better known as the "Birdman of Alcatraz".

As you tour, you'll hear about the prison's history, chilling stories narrated by former inmates, and various escape attempts! After the audio tour ends, you'll take the return ferry back to Pier 33. Will you be able to escape from the inescapable island?
