On this tour, we will explore Yosemite National Park, home to giant sequoia groves and the tallest trees in the world.

Day Trip Details

Transportation begins with a pickup from your selected meeting point as we depart the city to Yosemite National Park.

The drive lasts approximately 4 hours, traversing the Sierra Nevada Mountains and passing by historic western and gold rush towns. Insights will be shared about John Muir's significant role in the establishment of America’s first protected wilderness area.

Upon arrival, a photo stop will be made at the Tunnel View overlook, providing views of notable landmarks such as Half Dome, the Cathedral Peak mountain range, and Bridalveil Falls.

After the overlook, you will enjoy free time for lunch and exploration near the Yosemite Valley Lodge. Recommended activities include visiting Yosemite Falls, walking through Cook's Meadow, or relaxing by the Merced River.

Following regrouping, we will pass by El Capitan Meadow and stop at the Valley View overlook for views of the Merced River and Cathedral Rocks.

The final stop will be the Giant Sequoia Grove (Tuolumne Grove), where you can see some of the largest trees, including the Grizzly Giant Sequoia.

Itinerary Changes

In winter (November to March) or during adverse weather, the trek through Tuolumne Grove will be replaced with additional time in Yosemite Valley for safety.
