On this tour, we will explore the most famous national park in the United States, including its giant sequoia groves, the world's tallest trees.

Day Trip Details

After picking you up from your selected meeting point, we will travel east for approximately 4 hours to Yosemite National Park. We will cross the Sierra Nevada Mountains and pass through historical western towns and gold rush areas while discussing John Muir's influential role in establishing America’s first protected wilderness.

Upon arrival, we will stop at the Tunnel View overlook for photo opportunities of sights like the granite formation Half Dome, Cathedral Peak, and Bridalveil Falls.

Next, at Yosemite Valley Lodge, you will have free time for lunch and exploration. Recommended activities include visiting Yosemite Falls, walking through Cook's Meadow, or relaxing by the Merced River.

After regrouping, we will drive past El Capitan Meadow and stop at the Valley View overlook for views of the Merced River and Cathedral Rocks.

Our final stop will be at the Giant Sequoia Grove (Tuolumne Grove), home to the Grizzly Giant Sequoia, one of the largest trees in the world.

Itinerary Changes

In winter months from November to March, or during adverse weather conditions, we will substitute the Tuolumne Grove hike with additional time in Yosemite Valley.
