Our meeting point is Exit 4 at Shaanxi South Road subway station at the designated time, marking the beginning of our free tour through the Shanghai French Concession. Let the exploration commence!

First, we'll embark on a stroll down the iconic Middle Huaihai Road, once known as Avenue Joffre, with a glimpse of the historic Cathay Theater façade, delving into its intriguing history.

Passing by the former Shanghai French Club, we will unveil interesting tales about the structure and venture into a local neighborhood filled with traditional Shanghai houses and quaint alleys.

Next, we'll discover the expansive Culture Square, where the grand former residence of Zhou Enlai stands, exemplifying typical French Concession architecture. Adjacent are the Sinan Mansions, featuring stunning architecture.
