During this walking tour, you will be picked up from hotel lobby and visit People's Square. People's Square has been the political and cultural center of Shanghai since 1994. In and around the square there is a big fountain named the Light of Huangpu River.

Then continue to the famous Yunnan Road, once was the border between the French Concession area and the Shanghai residential areas. Visit three restaurants in the neighborhood to try local dishes and see how the native city residents eat and live. Try typical Shanghainese dishes such as scallion oil noodles, steamed buns, parched chicken and soup dumplings with black vinegar. All tastings are included and add up to more than enough for a full meal. Learn about the history and culture of the quickly changing city through your guide's informed commentary.
