Private Tour of Shanghai's Jewish Quarter

We'll pick you up from your hotel and head to the Hongkou District, where Jewish refugees settled. As we walk through this area, we will visit the Ohel Moishe Synagogue and the Jewish Refugee Museum. The tour will include a walk past Huoshan Park to see Shanghai's only Jewish community commemorative plaque, discussing the challenges the refugees faced and the local support they received.

Next, we will proceed to Doulun Road, a pedestrian street filled with historic buildings, museums, galleries, libraries, and cafes. The area showcases the cultural and artistic diversity of Shanghai, where many influential writers, artists, politicians, and revolutionaries have frequented.

Notable sites in Hongkou include Lu Xun House, Museum of Modern Art Shanghai, and Duolun History Museum, which details the history of the street from the 19th century onward. We will also pass by the Kong Xiangxi Temple, established by a Chinese banker and politician.

After 3 hours exploring the Jewish Quarter of Shanghai, we will return you to your hotel.
