Want to discover the Venice of China? On this day trip to Suzhou, we'll explore the city's canals and stone bridges.

Description

At the designated time, we will meet at the entrance to the Hengshan Garden Hotel in central Shanghai, and from there, we will proceed to the Venice of China.

After approximately 2 hours of travel, we will arrive at Suzhou, famous for its canals. The tour will begin at the Master of the Nets Garden, a World Heritage Site, where we will observe the integration of art, nature, and architecture by 12th-century Chinese landscape artists.

Next, we will enjoy a traditional lunch at a restaurant in the historic center, featuring a typical local dish. Following lunch, we will visit the Suzhou Silk Mill to learn about silk fabric production.

The tour will continue with a walk along Shan Tang, acknowledged for its beauty. We will stroll alongside the canal to view traditional houses and picturesque landscapes. Following this, you will have one hour of free time in the center of Suzhou to explore at your leisure, with options for tea and local handicrafts.

Finally, we will meet in the center of Suzhou for our return to Shanghai, arriving at the meeting point 9 hours after pickup.
