Private Tour to Luxor by Plane

Embark on a journey to the heart of Upper Egypt with this private tour from Sharm el-Sheikh to Luxor, inclusive of airfare and entrance fees to the Valley of the Kings, Karnak, and Hatshepsut temples.

Tour Highlights

At the designated time, pickup is arranged from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh for transportation to the airport, followed by a flight to Luxor.

Upon arrival, a minibus will take us to the Valley of the Kings, an ancient burial site where we will explore three tombs with drawings and inscriptions. Learn about tomb raiders and the legends of the afterlife in Ancient Egypt.

Following the Valley of the Kings, there will be a brief stop at an alabaster workshop for those interested in purchasing handcrafted figurines. We will then visit the funerary temple of Hatshepsut, carved into a cliff, honoring the sun god and commissioned by one of the earliest female pharaohs.

Explore this well-preserved temple and examine the historical context surrounding Hatshepsut and Thutmose III. Next, we will see the Colossi of Memnon, two 14-meter tall statues of Amenophis III, and learn about the life stories of this pharaoh and other queens.

A buffet lunch will be provided at a Luxor restaurant before we proceed to Karnak Temple, recognized as one of the largest and oldest religious complexes globally, famous for its hypostyle hall.

Concluding the tour, we will return to Luxor airport for the flight back, finishing with approximately 17.5 hours in total before drop-off at your hotel.
