Mesi Bridge, Drisht & Rozafa Castle Tour

On this tour of Shkodra, we will visit key attractions in and around the city. We will start with a pickup from your hotel in Shkodra.

Our first stop will be the Mesi Bridge, located 3 miles (5 kilometers) from Shkodra. This 18th-century viaduct spans the Kir river and is one of the longest Ottoman bridges in the region, connecting the town of Mes with Drisht.

Next, we will explore the medieval village of Drisht, where we will visit the ruins of Drisht Castle, a 13th-century fortress situated 984 feet (300 meters) above sea level. Along with the castle, we will observe the houses and archaeological remains, gaining insights into the area's history.

Finally, we will return to Shkodra to visit the Rozafa Castle, an important historical site. Here, we will learn about its history from the Illyrian period until the Roman occupation in 167 B.C. The tour will conclude with stunning views from Rozafa Castle.

The entire tour will last approximately three hours, after which we will return you to your hotel.
