At the indicated time, we'll meet at Austurgata Street to start this kayak tour along the coast of Stykkishólmur. We'll discover the marine wildlife of western Iceland on this fun adventure!

After introductions, we'll distribute the equipment and begin to kayak in the Breiðafjörður Bay. This area is known for its unspoiled islands and wildlife. We'll leave behind the port of Stykkishólmur to discover the area's hidden highlights.

For 2 hours, we'll paddle surrounded by a unique landscape of volcanoes and glaciers. Once you get the hang of the kayaks, we'll paddle further from the coast in search of puffins and seals. Be on the lookout!

Then, we'll continue the tour by exploring the remains of a shipwreck. We'll approach this stranded vessel and explain how and why it ended up there. Finally, before returning, we'll discuss the history of the wild and rugged Snaefellsnes peninsula.
