East Java Volcano Private Tour: 3 Days from Surabaya to Bali

Mount Bromo and Ijen volcanic crater are two notable natural attractions in Java. This three-day tour concludes in Bali.

Activity Details

Day 1: Surabaya Airport

Your guide will meet you at Juanda International Airport or Surabaya train station. You will travel through East Java to your hotel near Mount Bromo, a journey of approximately three hours, with a stop for lunch. Overnight accommodation is provided.

Day 2: Mount Bromo

Depart from the hotel at 3:30 am to witness the sunrise. You will travel by Jeep to Gunung Penanjakan, a viewpoint over 9,000 feet (2,770 meters) above sea level. After the sunrise, you will descend to the volcano's caldera and ride horseback to the peak. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast before heading to Ketapang for relaxation.

Day 3: Ijen – Ketapang – Bali

Gather in the hotel lobby at 2 am for a visit to the Ijen volcanoes. Although close to the blue lava, viewing it will not be permitted for safety. After exploring, return to Ketapang and take a ferry to Gilimanuk in Bali, concluding the tour.
