East Java Volcano Private Tour: 3 Days from Surabaya to Bali

Mount Bromo and Ijen volcanic crater are two significant natural attractions in Java. This three-day tour concludes in Bali.

Activity Details

Day 1: Surabaya Airport

Your guide will meet you at Juanda International Airport or Surabaya train station. You'll travel through rural East Java to your hotel at Mount Bromo, approximately a three-hour journey, including a stop for lunch before resting for an early start the next day.

Day 2: Mount Bromo

Depart at 3:30 am by all-terrain Jeep to Gunung Penanjakan for a sunrise view from over 9000 feet (2,770 meters). After witnessing the sunrise over Bromo and Seremu volcanoes, descend to the caldera and ride on horseback to the peak of Mount Bromo. After enjoying the views, return to the hotel for breakfast and continue to Ketapang for further relaxation.

Day 3: Ijen – Ketapang –Bali

Gather at 2 am for a visit to the Ijen volcanoes, noted for its blue lava, which will be discussed in terms of its properties, though the lava itself won't be visible. After exploring, travel back to Ketapang to catch a ferry to Gilimanuk in Bali, concluding the tour.
