Angkor Wat Temples Tour Itinerary

Meet at The Blanc Residence and head north to the ancient city of Angkor, the former Khmer capital from the 9th to the 15th century. Begin your guided tour of Angkor Wat, built in the early 12th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. Learn about its history as you walk through areas still visited by Buddhist monks.

Next, visit Bayon, known for its bas-reliefs of smiling faces, followed by Ta Promh, a Buddhist monastery reclaimed by nature and recognized from Tomb Raider.

Enjoy a break for lunch at a local restaurant before resuming your tour with Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer Empire. Explore the fully restored Southern Gate and the ruins, including the Baphuon temple. Visit the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King, and learn about the history of the area.

Return to Siem Reap by 5:30 pm.
