Phnom Kulen Trip

Between 7:40 am and 8:10 am, pickup will be from your hotel in Siem Reap for a 45-kilometre (27 miles) drive to Phnom Kulen, the Holy Mountains of Kulen.

Phnom Kulen National Park features the ruins of the ancient city of Mahendraparvata. A guide will provide insights into the history of this sacred site.

In Phnom Kulen, visit the River of a Thousand Lingas, with a hand-carved riverbed created in the 9th century. Traditional Apsara figures and Vishnu statues can also be found in the river.

Next, the tour will proceed to Preah Ang Thom Pagoda and the mountain summit, home to the giant reclining Buddha. Time will be allocated to admire the pagoda's architecture, embedded in the mountain's rock surface.

The final stop will be the Kulen waterfall, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the natural pool. Lunch will be a picnic, so bring your own food.

Return to the hotels in Siem Reap is expected around 4:30 pm.
