Private 3 Day Tour of Angkor Temples

Day 1

After being picked up from your hotel in Siem Reap, you'll head to Angkor Thom, entering through the south gate to see the Khmer architecture. Visit the Bayon Temple, the three-tiered temple of Baphuon, and its large Buddha statue.

Next, visit Ta Prohm, a temple taken over by nature, known for its roots and branches intertwined with its structures. After a lunch break, continue to Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument, active since the 12th century, where you may see Buddhist monks meditating.

At the end of the first day, you'll be dropped off at your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 2

After pickup from your hotel, set off to Banteay Srei, known for its detailed reliefs on red sandstone, often called a "jewel of Khmer art." Then visit Beng Mealea, a smaller temple extracted from similar stone, surrounded by jungle roots, followed by a visit to a 12th-century stone quarry.

After lunch at a local restaurant, learn to make a Cambodian delicacy, bamboo rice, before returning to your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 3

At 2 pm, pickup from your hotel in Siem Reap will take you to the port for a boat to the floating village of Kampong Phluk. Enjoy views over Lake Tonlé Sap, Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake.

Explore Kampong Phluk, seeing bamboo stilt structures and local life. The boat continues through the flooded forest and visits a crocodile farm.

At the end of three days exploring the temples of Angkor, you'll be dropped off at your hotel in Siem Reap by 6 pm.
