This 402-acre temple complex, founded in the 12th century, is one of the world's largest religious monuments. Discover Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Prohm, and other ancient temples.

Angkor Wat Private Tour Itinerary

After being picked up from your hotel in Siem Reap at your selected time, we will drive to the Angkor complex, the capital of the Khmer Empire from the 12th to the 15th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The guided tour starts at the southern gate of Angkor Thom, exploring the Bayon temple with its bas-reliefs of smiling faces, and visiting the three-tiered Baphuon Temple with its reclining Buddha.

Next, we will visit Ta Prohm Temple, an ancient Buddhist monastery overtaken by jungle vegetation, known for its use in the filming of Tomb Raider.

After lunch, we will travel to Angkor Wat, the most important temple in the complex, which has remained in use since the fall of the Khmer Empire. Initially representing the Hindu Mount Meru, it became a Buddhist center of worship by the end of the 12th century, with Buddhist monks still meditating there today.

After exploring the temples, we will drop you back at your hotel in Siem Reap.
