Angkor Wat Private Tour Itinerary

After being picked up from your hotel in Siem Reap at your selected time, we will drive to the Angkor complex, the capital of the Khmer Empire until the 1400s, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The guided tour will start at the southern gate of Angkor Thom, where the last Khmer kings ruled. We will explore the Bayon temple, with its bas-reliefs of smiling faces, the three-tiered Baphuon Temple, and its reclining Buddha.

Next, we will visit Ta Prohm Temple, an ancient Buddhist monastery overtaken by jungle vegetation. This location was used in the filming of Tomb Raider.

After a break for lunch, we will travel to Angkor Wat, the most important temple in the complex, which has remained in use since the fall of the Khmer Empire. Originally representing the Hindu center of the universe, it became a Buddhist center of worship, where Buddhist monks can still be seen meditating.

After the tour, we will return you to your hotel in Siem Reap.
