Immerse yourself in the history of Cambodia on this private tour to Battambang from Siem Reap and discover its ancient temples and famous bamboo train.

Private Tour of Battambang

Pick up from your hotel in Siem Reap is at 8:30 am for the three hour drive to Battambang. Upon arrival, we will start a guided tour of the city, visiting its French colonial houses, centuries-old pagodas, and the giant statue of Ta Dumbong. A stop at the historic temple of Wat Ek Phnom will allow us to explore this 11th century Angkorian sanctuary, featuring a well-preserved enormous statue of Buddha.

Following the city tour, you will have the chance to ride the famous bamboo train, known as a norry. After this unique experience, we will head to a restaurant in Battambang for a delicious lunch of local delicacies.

Post lunch, we will visit Phnom Sampov mountain, known for its cave inhabited by a large bat colony. After exploring, we will return to Siem Reap, arriving around 8:30 pm.
