Description

At your selected time on the day of the tour, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Siem Reap and head towards Tonlé Sap. This lake, part of the Tonlé Sap National Reserve, is the largest in Cambodia, with its river flowing into the Mekong River.

Upon arrival at the Phnom Krom pier, we will set sail on Tonlé Sap Lake, enjoying a boat ride across its waters, which can range from 2,500 to 16,000 square kilometers depending on the season. In monsoon season, the lakeside forests are flooded by rain.

The boat trip will lead us to Chong Kneas, a floating village where homes are built on stilts above the lake. We will learn about the locals and their lifestyle in this distinctive environment.

After visiting the floating village, we will return to Siem Reap.

Group Organisation

Groups of up to 15 people will have 1 guide. For groups of 25 to 50 people, the tour will be conducted with 2 guides.
