Discover the landscapes of rural Cambodia on this private tour of Tonlé Sap from Siem Reap. Enjoy a boat trip on the lake and visit the floating village of Chong Kneas.

Description

At your selected time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Siem Reap and head towards Tonlé Sap, the largest lake in Cambodia, part of the Tonlé Sap National Reserve. The lake's river flows into the Mekong River.

At the Phnom Krom pier, we will set sail on Tonlé Sap Lake, enjoying a boat ride across its waters that can range from 2,500 to 16,000 square kilometers depending on the season. In monsoon season, the lakeside forests are flooded.

We will visit Chong Kneas, a floating village with homes built on stilts above the lake. Sailing alongside the stilt houses, we will learn about the locals' unique way of life.

After visiting Chong Kneas, we will return to Siem Reap.
