Description

On the day of your tour, at a time of your choosing, you will be collected from your hotel in Siem Reap and we will proceed towards Tonlé Sap. This magnificent body of water, part of the Tonlé Sap National Reserve, holds the title of Cambodia's largest lake, with its waters flowing into the Mekong River.

Once we arrive at the Phnom Krom pier, we will embark on a tranquil boat ride across Tonlé Sap Lake. As we glide over its smooth surface, you will be captivated by its vastness, which fluctuates between 2,500 and 16,000 square kilometers depending on the season. During the wet season, the surrounding forests become engulfed by the rising waters!

Your journey will lead us to Chong Kneas, a remarkable floating village where houses are elevated on stilts amidst the lake. As you navigate alongside these stilted dwellings, you'll gain insight into the unique lifestyles of the inhabitants in this extraordinary setting.

Following our exploration of the floating village, we will return to Siem Reap.
