Siem Reap to Phnom Penh: Cambodia 5 Day Tour

Day 1: Siem Reap – Battambang

The tour begins at 7:30 am with a pickup from your hotel in Siem Reap. After a three-hour drive, we will visit Wat Ek Phnom, an 11th-century Angkorian Hindu sanctuary. Next, we will arrive in Battambang for a panoramic tour, seeing pagodas and colonial houses. After dropping off luggage at the hotel, lunch will be at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will ride the Battambang bamboo train and visit Phnom Sampov to see bat caves. Dinner will be at the hotel.

Day 2: Battambang – Pursat

After breakfast, we depart for the ruins of Wat Bakan, a significant Buddhist shrine. Upon reaching Pursat, lunch will be at the Central Market. We will then visit the floating village of Kompong Luong and enjoy a cruise in a traditional boat. We will spend the night in Pursat.

Day 3: Pursat – Udong – Phnom Penh

Following breakfast, we will travel to Udong, stopping for lunch in the city. We will visit Phnom Udong and its archaeological sites before heading to Phnom Penh where we’ll check into a hotel in the old town.

Day 4: Phnom Penh

The fourth day includes a guided tour of Phnom Penh. After breakfast, we will see the Royal Palace, Throne Room, and the National Museum of Cambodia. After lunch, we’ll visit Koh Dach (Silk Island) and learn about silk weaving before returning to the hotel.

Day 5: Phnom Penh

On the final day, we will visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Choeung Ek Memorial. After lunch, we explore Wat Ounalom Monastery and Wat Phnom, concluding at Phsar Toul Tum Poung. We will then return to the hotel to collect luggage.
