Discover the fauna and flora of Costa Rica on this excursion to Corcovado National Park, considered the most biodiverse place in the world!
Corcovado National Park Excursion
The excursion begins at 8 am at Sierpe's Pier, where participants will embark on a boat ride through the beautiful landscapes of Terraba-Sierpe, the main wetland of Costa Rica, for an hour and a half. The journey will proceed to San Pedrillo, with opportunities to see dolphins and sea turtles along the Pacific Ocean.
Upon reaching San Pedrillo, participants will start a hiking route through Corcovado National Park, lasting about three hours. During the hike, they will observe various mammals such as monkeys, coatis, and anteaters, as well as native birds like tanagers and trogons.
Around noon, a break will be taken for a picnic lunch featuring local specialties. After lunch, the group will continue to the prominent waterfall of Corcovado National Park, where swimming is permitted.
Following the swim, participants will return to the hike's starting point and take the boat back to Sierpe, with an expected arrival time of 4 pm.
