Join us to explore the depths of the Costa Rican reserve of the Isla del Caño with this scuba diving activity. We'll enjoy two dives and admire local flora and fauna.
Activity Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at calle hacia los Planes. After receiving safety instructions, we'll set sail from Drake Bay to the nearby Isla del Caño, a premier diving location in Costa Rica.
After a 40-minute sail to the island's coastline, we'll prepare for our first dive with full diving gear. This first dive will last about 45 minutes, allowing us to explore marine life. Afterward, we will return to the boat and search for the beach of Isla del Caño to rest before continuing.
For the second dive, we will dive for another 45 minutes in the island's depths, declared a Biological Reserve. We may encounter various marine species such as parrot fish, surgeon fish, jacks, ojaranes, white tip reef sharks, turtles, and possibly manta rays depending on the season.
Finally, we'll head to San Josecito beach for a picnic lunch overlooking the sea before returning to Drake Bay, concluding the activity after 7.5 hours.
