Sail between the mangroves in Sierpe River during this kayak tour from Bahía Drake. You'll never forget the jungle scenery of Southern Costa Rica!
Tour Details
We'll start the route at the designated time, meeting next to the Bahía Drake letters. We'll head to Playa Colorada on foot, where we'll board a water taxi.
After 30 minutes of navigating along the coast of Bahía Drake and Playa Guaruras, we'll arrive in the Isla Violín region. From here, we'll start our kayak tour, which will allow us to enter the Sierpe River and its leafy mangroves.
As we paddle, we'll discover the incredible biodiversity of the river. Monkeys, sloths, birds, crocodiles, and many other animals form part of this ecosystem in the south of Costa Rica. It's also an area with outstanding nature since the mangroves are part of the Humedal Nacional Térraba Sierpe and the Reserva Forestal Golfo Dulce.
With our kayak route over, we'll return to the water taxi and set sail from the Sierpe Mangroves. We'll arrive at our original meeting point in Bahía Drake, where this tour will come to an end after a total of 6.5 hours.
