Want to explore the seabed? In this snorkeling activity at Caño Island, we'll set sail from Sierpe and dive into one of the paradises of the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

Snorkeling at Caño Island

We'll meet at 7:50 am at Sierpe's Pier, where we'll board a boat that will take us to Caño Island.

The first part of the trip lasts 45 minutes through the Térraba-Sierpe area, the largest wetland in Costa Rica, followed by a 30-minute sail across the Pacific to the Caño Island Biological Reserve.

Upon arrival, you will have three hours of free time to snorkel at Caño Island, where you can observe various tropical fish in shallow waters.

After the first dive, we will have a picnic lunch on one of the island's beaches, featuring local specialties to recharge for the second dive.

After lunch, we'll rest on the beach before returning to the water for an hour and a half to explore the coral reefs of Caño Island.

At the end of the second dive, we'll return to the boat and head back to the departure dock, with an expected arrival time of 4:15 pm.
