Want to explore the seabed? In this snorkeling activity at Caño Island, we'll set sail from Sierpe and dive into one of the paradises of the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

Snorkeling at Caño Island

We'll meet at 7:50 am at Sierpe's Pier, where we'll board a boat to one of the most paradisiacal islands of Costa Rica. The first part of the trip, lasting 45 minutes, will take us through the Térraba-Sierpe area, the largest wetland in Costa Rica. We will then sail for another 30 minutes across the Pacific towards the Caño Island Biological Reserve.

Upon arrival, you will have three hours of free time to snorkel at Caño Island, which has a rich ecosystem where various types of tropical fish can be observed. After the first dive, we'll take a break for a picnic lunch on one of the island's beaches, featuring local specialty dishes to recharge before the second dive.

After lunch, we will rest on the beach and then return to the water for an additional an hour and a half of snorkeling. You will have the opportunity to explore Caño Island's stunning coral reefs.

Following the second dive, we will return to the boat and start the journey back, with arrival at the dock scheduled for 4:15 pm.
