Want to explore the seabed? In this snorkeling activity at Caño Island, we'll set sail from Sierpe and dive into one of the paradises of the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

Snorkeling at Caño Island

We'll meet at 7:50 am at Sierpe's Pier, where we'll board a boat to Caño Island.

The trip begins with a 45-minute journey through the Térraba-Sierpe area, the largest wetland in Costa Rica, followed by a 30-minute sail across the Pacific to the Caño Island Biological Reserve.

Upon arrival, you will have three hours of free time to snorkel in Caño Island's rich ecosystem, observing various tropical fish at shallow depths.

After the first dive, we will take a break for a picnic lunch on the beach, featuring local specialties. Post-lunch, you'll have an additional an hour and a half to explore the seabed, including beautiful coral reefs.

Following the second dive, we will return to the boat for the trip back, with arrival at the departure dock scheduled for 4:15 pm.
