Snorkelling on Isla del Caño

After meeting your guide on the coast of Bahía Drake, you will board a boat for the cruise to Isla del Caño. This unspoiled island, covered with lush vegetation, is one of the protected natural areas of Costa Rica's southwestern coast.

Upon reaching Caño Island, prepare for your snorkelling experience by putting on your goggles, flippers, and breathing tube. You will enjoy two dives in the shallow waters of the Pacific at a location chosen based on ocean currents and weather conditions for the day.

Through your snorkelling goggles, you will see marine creatures native to these subtropical waters, from rays to various fish species. After your underwater adventure, you will return to Bahía Drake by boat.

Important Info

Normally, the snorkelling activity will begin at 7 am, returning to Drake Bay around 1 pm. However, these times may vary depending on the weather and sea conditions. It is recommended to have the whole day free.
