Snorkelling on Isla del Caño

After meeting your guide on the coast of Bahía Drake, you will board a boat for the cruise to Isla del Caño. This island, covered with lush vegetation, is a protected natural area on Costa Rica's southwestern coast.

Upon arrival at Caño Island, you will prepare for your snorkelling experience, putting on your goggles, flippers, and breathing tube. You will enjoy two dives in the shallow waters of the Pacific. These dives will be conducted at a selected location based on ocean currents and weather conditions.

Through your snorkelling goggles, you will see marine creatures native to these subtropical waters, including rays and various fish. After your underwater adventure, you will return to Bahía Drake by boat.

Important Info

The snorkelling activity typically begins at 7 am, with a return to Drake Bay around 1 pm. However, these times may vary due to weather and sea conditions, so it is recommended to keep the whole day free.
