At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Sigiriya and head north to the ancient city of Anuradhapura. About an hour and a half later, we'll arrive at our destination, ready to explore this area full of temples and Buddhist ruins. Anuradhapura was the capital of the Sinhalese kingdoms for more than 1,000 years.

The monumental area of Anuradhapura extends over 40 square kilometers, featuring many significant sites such as the Isurumuniya Vihara temple with stone carvings, the sacred tree of Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, the Ruvanvelisaya Dagoba, and the sculpture of the Samadhi Buddha.

Along the way, if you wish, we can also stop at a restaurant for lunch, allowing you time to enjoy the local cuisine, with the guide providing recommendations for the best options.

After visiting the city of Anuradhapura, we'll start on our way back to Sigiriya, where we'll drop you off at your hotel at 7 pm.
