Kandy Private Excursion

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Sigiriya at 7 am. Without wasting time, we’ll board the vehicle and drive 90 kilometers south to Kandy, about two and a half hours away.

Over the course of the day, we'll explore the second most important city in Sri Lanka and an important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists. We'll visit key places such as the Royal Botanic Gardens of Peradeniya with its more than 4,000 different species of plants, the artificial lake of Kandy stretching more than 3 kilometers long, the statue of Bahirawakanda Vihara, and a silk factory.

No visit to Kandy would be complete without stopping by Sri Dalada Maligawa, also known as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Buddhists worldwide. Discover its fascinating history on the tour.
