Safari in Minneriya National Park

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Sigiriya at the indicated time and head out on the short drive to the Minneriya National Park.

After purchasing our entrance tickets for the nature reserve, we'll begin our 3-hour journey by 4x4 through the park in search of its most famous inhabitants: Asian elephants. Are you ready for an incredible safari?

Minneriya is a protected area where many of Sri Lanka's diverse native species live, but the true stars of this national park are the elephants. As soon as we enter the reserve, you'll start to see the first of these gentle giants.

This is a unique opportunity to see large groups of elephants in their natural habitat. Watch how they interact with each other while we get close to them! We'll also see various other wildlife, including water buffalos, deer, and even crocodiles.

At the end of the safari, you'll be dropped back off at your hotel 5 hours later.
