Activity Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Sigiriya at the specified time and proceed to Minneriya National Park.

Upon acquiring entrance tickets to the reserve, we will embark on a 3-hour journey by 4x4 through the park in search of its prominent inhabitants: Asian elephants.

Minneriya is a protected area that houses many of Sri Lanka's native animal species. The elephants are the main attraction of this national park. You will likely see these gentle giants shortly after entering the reserve.

This is a unique chance to observe large groups of elephants in their natural habitat and witness their interactions up close. Other wildlife such as water buffalos, deer, and crocodiles may also be seen.

At the conclusion of the safari, you will be transported back to your hotel after approximately 5 hours.
