Visit the imposing Lion Rock and marvel at its surroundings with this tour of Sigiriya. You'll also visit the village of Hiriwadunna and take a boat ride on the lake.
Sigiriya & Hiriwaduna Village Private Excursion
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Sigiriya at the designated time and drive to the important archaeological site.
Upon arrival, we'll embark on a sunrise walk to explore the famous Lion Rock. We will ascend the staircase to the top of this rock formation to enjoy views of the surrounding jungle.
After descending, we'll proceed to Hiriwadunna, where we'll take a walk around the village to discover its vegetation and local lifestyle.
Additionally, we'll experience a ride on an ox-drawn cart through the rice fields and enjoy a boat ride on the lake. This completes a full day of activities.
At the end of the tour, we will return you to your hotel, with the total duration of the excursion being approximately 6 to 7 hours.
