Your journey begins promptly at 7 am with a pickup from your accommodation in Sigiriya, where you'll embark on a private adventure to unveil the historic ruins of Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, and Medirigiriya. Excited for a day brimming with discovery?

Our first stop will be at the Sigiriya archaeological site, home to the famed Lion Rock. Here, you can marvel at the impressive stone carvings, presenting an ideal opportunity to ascend to the summit and enjoy the stunning panoramic views!

Following this, we will proceed to Polonnaruwa, recognized as one of the most well-preserved archaeological sites in Sri Lanka. This ancient kingdom earned a UNESCO World Heritage Site designation in 1982. As we stroll through its historic ruins, you'll discover fascinating insights about this ancient capital of the Sinhalese rulers.

Feeling hungry? After the tour of Polonnaruwa, we’ll visit a local area to allow you free time for lunch.

Refreshed and ready, we'll then venture to our final destination: the ruins of Medirigiriya. This quaint archaeological site is a splendid representation of the distinct vatadages found in Sinhalese architecture.

As the day concludes, you’ll be transported back to your hotel in Sigiriya, with an expected arrival time of 7 pm.
