No trip to Sri Lanka would be complete without experiencing the island's magnificent wildlife. Discover a wealth of nature on this safari of Wilpattu National Park.

Wilpattu National Park Safari

On the day of your tour, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Sigiriya. From there, we'll set off on the two-hour minibus journey to reach our destination.

Arriving at the park, we'll buy our entrance tickets to the national park and swap vehicles, climbing into a 4x4 with a convertible roof: ideal for observing animals on our safari safely.

Wilpattu National Park is the largest nature reserve on the island, hosting various native species including elephants, jackals, deer, wild boar and, if we're lucky, the leopard.

Wilpattu means "land of lakes", and the park is also home to a variety of water birds and reptiles, such as crocodiles and different species of snakes.

After our 7-hour safari, we'll return to the park's entrance, where our minibus will take us back to hotels in Sigiriya. The tour will conclude 11 hours later.

Entrance to Wilpattu National Park

The entrance to the national park is not included in the tour price. You'll need to pay at the ticket offices at the park entrance on the day of the activity. The price is 45USD per person.
