Hot springs, streams, viewpoints, and a waterfall await us on this excursion to the Puracé National Park. Additionally, we'll have the opportunity to observe the famous Andean condor.

Andean Condor Watching + Puracé National Park Tour

We will pick you up at your hotel in Silvia at 6:40 am for a trip to the Puracé National Natural Park. The bus ride will take approximately two and a half hours.

Upon arrival at over 3400 meters (11155 feet) above sea level, we will engage in a bird-watching activity to observe the Andean condor, one of the largest flying birds globally. We will share interesting facts about this endangered species, which is represented on the coats of arms of Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, and Bolivia.

After an hour of bird watching, we will continue exploring the Puracé National Park, visiting the valley of frailejones, which hosts 90 varieties of this endemic plant species.

Next, we will stop at the waterfall of the Bedón river, the Andulbio lagoon, and the wishing well. You will have time to enjoy the crystal-clear waters and take numerous photos.

Our final stop will be at the thermal baths of San Juan, featuring pools and rivers with unique colors such as grey, turquoise, pink, and green.

Before returning to Silvia, we will have a delicious lunch comprising fish, grilled meat, or chicken, served with side dishes including rice, salad, or 'patacones', along with a drink.

After regaining strength, we will return to the bus and conclude the activity, dropping you off at your hotel.
