Andean Condor Watching + Puracé National Park Tour

Hot springs, streams, viewpoints, and a waterfall await on this excursion to the Puracé National Park. We will also look for the Andean condor during this experience.

Andean Condor Watching + Puracé National Park Tour

Pickup will be at your hotel in Silvia at 6:40 am, followed by a bus ride of approximately two and a half hours to the Puracé National Natural Park.

We will arrive at over 3400 meters (11155 feet) above sea level for a bird-watching activity focused on the Andean condor, known as one of the largest flying birds in the world. We will share interesting facts about this endangered species.

After an hour of observing the Andean condor, we will explore the landscapes of Puracé National Park, including the valley of frailejones, a species found in the páramos.

Next stops will include the waterfall of the Bedón river, the Andulbio lagoon, and the wishing well. You will have time to take photos at these natural sites.

We will also visit the thermal baths of San Juan, featuring pools and rivers with various colors. Details about the colors will be provided.

A delicious lunch consisting of fish, grilled meat, or chicken will be served, accompanied by rice, salad, or 'patacones', along with a drink.

After the meal, we will return to the bus and conclude the activity, dropping you off at your hotel.
