When booking, choose between two private excursions, both including hotel pickup in Silvia and return transfer:

Andean condor watching + Hot springs (11 hours)

At 6:40 am, we will travel to Puracé National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve featuring stunning landscapes.

We will first visit a viewpoint to spot the Andean condor and discuss this endangered species. The day involves learning about the local flora and visiting sites such as the Andulbio lagoon, the wishing well, and the waterfall of the Bedón river, with a 6-meter cascade, before concluding with a visit to the hot springs of San Juan. After a one-hour lunch break, we will return to Silvia by 6 pm.

Puracé volcano hike (13 hours)

For the hiking route to the Puracé volcano, we will pick you up at 5 am. A two-hour drive leads us to the volcano, where we will have a hot drink before hiking.

Over five hours, we will ascend volcanic slopes to reach the summit at 4,673 meters above sea level, offering impressive crater views. Throughout the hike, we will share insights about the eruptions of Puracé and its biodiversity. Following the hike, you can unwind in the hot springs. After a one-hour lunch break, we will arrive back in Silvia at 6 pm.
