When booking, choose between two private excursions, both including hotel pickup in Silvia and return transfer:

Andean condor watching + Hot springs (11 hours)

The tour begins at 6:40 am with a trip to Puracé National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. We will first visit a viewpoint to spot the Andean condor and learn about this endangered species. The day will focus on exploring local flora and sites such as the Andulbio lagoon, the wishing well, and the Bedón river waterfall, which has a 6-meter cascade, followed by a visit to the hot springs of San Juan. There will be one hour allotted for lunch before returning to Silvia by 6 pm.

Puracé volcano hike (13 hours)

This excursion begins with pickup at 5 am, followed by a two-hour drive to the Puracé volcano, where participants will enjoy a hot drink before starting the hike. The five-hour hike will lead to the summit at 4,673 meters above sea level, offering stunning views of the crater. Along the route, interesting facts about the eruptions of Puracé and its flora and fauna will be shared. After the hike, there will be a chance to relax in the hot springs, followed by one hour for lunch. The group will return to Silvia by 6 pm.
