Tour of Casa Payán + Misak Ritual

This tour offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich heritage of the Misak culture. Participants will visit the Casa Payán and take part in a harmonization ritual that highlights the beliefs of these pre-Hispanic communities from the Colombian region of Cauca.

Visit to Casa Payán and Misak Ritual

The day kicks off at 8 am in the central park of Silvia, where we will gather and embark on a minibus journey to a garden venue. Here, we will experience a Misak ritual and delve into the vibrant music and dances associated with these ancient people.

As we settle in, the sounds of traditional Misak music will envelop us. This harmonization ritual features offerings and chants designed to foster camaraderie among various ethnic groups and dispel negative energies. It promises to be an unforgettable experience!

Following this, we'll continue by minibus to the Casa Payán Interpretation Center. During our visit, we will explore the traditional medicinal practices of the Misak culture, unveiling the diverse health benefits of their medicinal plants while we tour the center's facilities.

Before concluding our excursion, participants can savor a delightful lunch featuring a choice between a fish or vegetarian dish, complemented by a refreshing drink.

We will return to our departure point by 2 pm, wrapping up this enriching experience.
