If you want to learn about the Misak culture, this tour is ideal for you! We'll visit the Casa Payán and attend a harmonization ritual to deepen our understanding of the beliefs of these pre-Hispanic people from the Colombian department of Cauca.

Tour of Casa Payán + Misak Ritual

At 8 am, we'll meet at the main park of Silvia. We'll board a minibus and head to a garden where we'll enjoy a Misak ritual and learn about the music and dances of these pre-Hispanic people.

We'll have a seat and begin to feel the rhythm of the traditional Misak music. Offerings and chants come together in this ritual of harmonization created to promote friendship between different ethnic groups and eliminate bad energies.

Afterwards, we'll go by minibus to the Casa Payán Interpretation Center. Here, we'll learn about the ancient medicinal treatments of the Misak culture. We'll discover the various natural benefits of the medicinal plants they use while touring the facilities of this cultural center.

Then, before we say goodbye, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch! The menu will include a fish or vegetarian dish of your choice and a drink.

The activity will finish back at the starting point at 2 pm.
