National Palace of Queluz + Gardens

The National Palace of Queluz is located in Sintra and was built in Baroque style by Peter III. It became a royal palace after his marriage to Princess Mary. French architect Jean-Baptiste Robillion remodeled it in the style of the Palace of Versailles. Queluz served as a central location for the Portuguese court, hosting soirees and balls. It now functions as a residence for visiting foreign heads of State.

The palace gardens feature fountains and mythological sculptures, reflecting landscape harmony. The gardens currently host the School of Equestrian Art and received the European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage in 2018.

This ticket allows access to historical areas such as the Throne Room, Music Room, and Ambassadors Room, along with royal chambers.
