During the booking process, you can select from the following two tour options. Below, you'll find a brief description of each tour:
1.5-Hour Ride
At the time of your choice, you'll head to Riva Forte Gallo. There, you'll be welcomed aboard the boat and set sail to start exploring the island of Ortigia, the historical center of Syracuse.
During the boat ride, you will see various historical and natural monuments. The cruise includes views of the Venetian palace, Umbertino Bridge, the Spanish walls, and the ancient prison of the Bourbons. You'll also see the gothic details on the exterior of Maniace Castle, built by Emperor Frederick II in the 13th century.
Afterward, you'll head to the sea caves in the north of Syracuse, where you can admire the stalactites and stalagmites. After 1.5 hours of sailing, the tour concludes.
The available times for this tour are 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm, and 6 pm.
2-Hour Ride + Snorkeling
In this option, you will spend more time in the sea caves of Syracuse, exploring the caves of Cappuccini, Innamorati (Lovers' Cave), Corallo (Coral Cave), and Grande Grotta, with a 30-minute snorkeling activity.
Back on board, an aperitif with seasonal fruit and prosecco will be provided.
This option is available at the following times: 9:30 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 3:30 pm.
