Tour of Neapolis

At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Neapolis Archaeological Park to begin our guided tour. The exploration will reveal the ruins of the most notable Greek colony in the West, a place linked to figures such as Archimedes, Plato, and Cicero.

During our visit, we will also explore the Latomia of Paradise, a stone quarry featuring the Ear of Dionysus, once used as a prison for enemies. Participants can experience its remarkable acoustics.

Next, we'll head to the Greek Theater, renowned as one of the largest theaters in the world. The tour includes a visit to the nymphaeum fountain, providing views of the port of Syracuse.

Lastly, we will examine the Roman Amphitheater, constructed post-conquest for gladiator fights.
