During the booking process, choose between hiking the north or south face of Monte Conero. Both options meet at the Sirolo car park at Via Fonte D'Olio 21. Each route lasts approximately 5 hours, covering 8.5 kilometres (5.2 miles) with a maximum elevation change of 400 metres (around 1300 feet).

Hike on the North Face of Monte Conero
The hike begins with the north face's Mediterranean greenery. Two viewpoints will provide panoramic views of Portonovo Bay and the coast of Ancona. Lookout points are suitable for spotting peregrine falcons nesting on cliffs. The tour includes visits to historical sites, ancient cave paintings, and a Roman cave, reflecting the area's rich history.
Hike on the South Face of Monte Conero
The adventure starts at the Mortarolo Cave, followed by the Belvedere Sud viewpoint, which offers views of San Pietro Bay and its coastline. The route then leads to Piani di Raggetti, showcasing natural beauty. The hike concludes at a quarry where the KT limit is located, providing insight into important palaeontological aspects.
