Sitges Guided Tour
After meeting your tour guide at the scheduled time in the center of Sitges, you'll begin your tour of the historic Catalan town. Your first stop will be at the casas de los indianos, most of which are constructed in modernist architectural styles. Your tour guide will explain the history of the families who lived here and how they received this nickname.
Continuing to the historic center of Sitges, you will visit the town hall, or Casa de la Vila in Catalan. From here, you'll follow the route of the ancient citadel walls to the church of Sant Bartomeu and Santa Tecla. This 17th-century Baroque church, located on the sea wall, is one of the town's most symbolic images. After learning about its history and architecture, you'll proceed to the viewpoint to look out at the port and the sea.
Your next stop will be Racó de la Calma, an area with winding streets and historic buildings, including the Cau Ferrat Museum, the former home and studio of artist Santiago Rusiñol. The museum houses artwork by El Greco, Picasso, and Rusiñol.
Finally, you'll visit one of the oldest streets in Sitges, where your guide will share its unique secret before concluding the guided tour.
