Sitges Guided Tour
After meeting your tour guide at the scheduled time in the centre of Sitges, you'll begin your tour of the historic Catalan town. Your first stop will be the "casas de los indianos", constructed in modernist architectural styles. Your guide will reveal the history of the families who lived here and how they got this nickname.
Next, you'll head to the historic centre of Sitges and visit the town hall, or the Casa de la Vila. From here, you will follow the ancient citadel walls to the church of Sant Bartomeu and Santa Tecla. This 17th-century Baroque church, located on the sea wall, is a symbolic image of the town. After learning about its history and architecture, you'll visit a viewpoint overlooking the port and the sea.
The tour will continue to the Racó de la Calma, featuring winding streets and historic buildings, including the Cau Ferrat Museum. This museum showcases the collection of Catalan Modernist artist Santiago Rusiñol, featuring artworks by Greco, Picasso, and Rusiñol.
Finally, you will explore one of the oldest streets in Sitges, where your guide will reveal its curious secret, concluding your guided tour.
